VictorySDF 1.0 for both Windows and Linux released.
Victory beta 8 for Linux is now available. It requires Qt 6.4 and FreeType 2.12 libraries, both of which are most likely already present in a typical modern KDE setup.
Welcome to the personal website of Don Giesbrecht. Here, you will eventually find all kinds of software--whatever interests me--but mostly focused on the field of run-time graphics. This includes tools to generate assets, and libraries to load and use those assets.
At the moment, only one application is available here: VictorySDF. If your application needs text, I invite you to try it. VictorySDF creates a text glyph texture atlas, with or without signed distance fields, and provides real-time testing and tuning of both the atlas and custom GLSL fragment shaders. It has only just released, and is currently in beta, but it's totally free.
This site is currently under construction! Hopefully, it will take shape and be of more use sooner rather than later.
